In The Know

CMHA Kenora Branch is excited to offer mental health awareness training, specifically for farmers and the agriculture community in our community.

In the Know is a mental health literacy program created specifically for the agricultural community. The workshops are facilitated by one of CMHA’s mental health professionals using real-life examples from the agriculture community.  Participants will cover the topics of stress, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders and how to start a conversation around mental well-being.

In the Know is meant for farmers, producers and persons with whom they have regular contact. This may include, but is not limited to, family members, peers and allies in the agricultural industry such as veterinarians, breeders, seed or feed salespeople, financial institutions, accountants or community members who have direct contact with farm owners/operators.

We will be hosting an In the Know workshop on Monday, July 21st, 2022, from 10am to 2 pm. This workshop will be delivered virtually. This session is open to Kenora & area farmers and agriculture professionals.
