This September is suicide prevention awareness month. To carry on the sentiment of Sam’s Tags—the keychains with messages of hope on them made in honour of Sam Bush, who died by suicide on June 2, 2019—CMHA Kenora has paired with Tammy Bush and Talbot Marketing to open a pop-up clothing store, with all proceeds going towards providing prevention programming and other necessary mental health services across the district through CMHA Kenora Branch.

Prevention services are not supported by government funding so we rely on fundraising initiatives like this one to be able to provide them to the community.

From September 6th to September 30th you will be able to purchase clothing with Sam’s logo on it—the same one that can be found on the back of every one of Sam’s Tags along with a crisis line. Hoodies, crewnecks, t-shirts, tank-tops and hats will all be available and can be ordered from the following link, with the option of delivery to your address or pick-up at the CMHA office:
