Get your “be kind” shirt for Pink Shirt Day in support of CMHA Kenora

CMHA Kenora is once again this year raising awareness to stop bullying on Pink Shirt Day by selling pink shirts featuring the message “be kind,” with proceeds going to local community initiatives at CMHA Kenora.

Adult shirts are available for $35 as well as children and youth shirts for $30. Shirts can be ordered at www.zeffy.com/en-CA/ticketing/pick-shirt-day-be-kind-campaign. Orders will be accepted until Friday, Feb. 6.

Each year, Pink Shirt Day falls on the last Wednesday of February, which this year is Feb. 25. It originated in 2007 when Nova Scotia grade 12 students David Shepherd and Travis Price bought and distributed pink shirts to wear after a younger student was bullied for wearing a pink shirt.

CMHA Kenora will send an email notification to you when your order is ready for pick up. All items can be pick up from the CMHA Kenora main office at 227 Second St. S.
